I was debating whether or not to spend £35 on a storage jar. It seems a bit rich, but I was desperate to find something to store my children's snacks.I was a bit worried when I read some reviews on the American site saying that they found pieces of glass in their food. But how ridiculous as the quality of this jar is very very high! The glass is thick, sturdy and clear.Additionally, the lid is strong and of very good quality, I can't imagine any pieces of glass falling off (no bubbles or thin pieces/areas.)Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's great quality and looks wonderful in my kitchen!

The lid is broken and doesn’t look safe to use, I counted four separate areas of cracking unrelated to the gigantic chips on the lid’s rim. The lid is chipped badly. The 2 gallon jar itself seems intact, but there is fine bits of glass dust/clumps stuck along the walls along with shards of glass hanging out inside. The cracks in the lid look like stress cracks, probably made when the lid was produced. I think it shows the quality of the product.

I love these so much. I wish I had a reason to buy more of them. I originally got one to fill with dry cat food since I read plastic isn’t an optimal vessel for it. I got another to store flour in. I’m out of glass jar needs. I do wish they had the rubber seal flap but it’s not necessary for my uses. Great buy.

Love these jars. Solid glass. Nice glass lid. Not a sealed lid so have to watch what types of food would be stored.The 2 gallon was bigger than I thought but love it for dog milkbones (4 big dogs). It's about the size of my Keurig coffee maker.In my pics, the jar with little treats is 1/2 gal. And the tiny one is from a set of six. All on Amazon.I also have 3 for people snacks. They look great on the counter keeping it much neater.

It's nice and sturdy. Simple but handsome enough to look nice in the bathroom. It holds about 20 lb or more of epsom salt. I keep the jar filled in the bathroom near the bathtub with a measuring scoop inside. Looks way nicer than those plastic bags that the salts come in. The lid is heavy enough that it stays on well. Nice!

Perfect for storing dog and cat food. We have a vacation home in the north woods which unfortunately sometimes also houses a rodent or two. We can't leave pet food in bags. These large glass canisters are great. Tops and bottoms are heavy enough that little critters can't knock them over or off. Nor can our dogs and cats. I was a little worried about shipping glass but these containers were packed well and suffered no damage at all in transit. One of the benefits of Amazon prime shipping is that packages don't have much time to be tossed around. Delivery is very fast. I've come to depend on it.

The jars are great. These were shipped to me from CyberToyShop. The packaging from CyberToyShop was not good. The jars were placed into a box not much larger than the jar with some peanuts. I ordered 2 jars. One of the jars arrived ok and the other jar was completely broken and shattered.
