At first £50 for such a simple contraption seemed outrageous, being a coffee snob i had been looking for a pressurised machine for a while, but i was pleasantly surprised! Used correctly, with some preparation hacks, such as wetting the filter with boiling water to warm the vessel, and warming your milk - perfection.

I bought this as a gift for someone, however when it arrived the box was crushed in one corner and torn in other places. This is not acceptable to give as a gift. Very disappointed.

I love having options for making coffee, and I really enjoy this as a way to maker larger batches of quality coffee when hosting guests, or going on trips with a group of friends. It's a great looking product and makes awesome coffee if you're willing to put a bit of time into watching a YouTube video on proper technique.I have taken the chemex on two trips so far and it has held up. It is made of glass so I definitely try to take care of it when moving around, but it has held up perfectly so far.

My mother had one of these when I was a teenager. I always remember the smell of the coffee brewing. I've been using the easy to use Keurig for a few years. This is much better. And the aesthetic quality is unsurpassed.

Déjà c’est un très bel objet, j’aurais du prendre le filtre réutilisable dès cet achat car au final je m’en sers presque tous les jours même si ça prend plus de temps pour faire du cafe. Le café est très bon, aucun dépôt.On prend plaisir de faire du café de façon lente mais faisant grandir l’envie de le déguster ensuite.
