This lid is wonderful in that it doesn’t leak, is the perfect size opening for drinking and has an easy on easy off cap. The downside is when you drink from it, a string of air bubbles audibly replace the water you drink. This is fine unless you are in the same room as your napping infant and they startle awake. Otherwise I think it is amazing. I switched to this cap after the straw one leaked.

I really like the Lifefactory glass beverage bottles (I hate drinking out of plastic). My only complaint about the bottle was the lid. You have to unscrew it and take it off to drink from the bottle and then screw the top back on, pain in the neck when you are driving. And if you are the passenger and the driver speeds up or stops suddenly the water spills out onto you because of the large opening. I was beginning to hate the bottle until I saw this lid that I could purchase. I just wish it had come with this lid. I went from almost disliking this pricey bottle to loving it, the flip top cap is great and makes it so much easier to use when traveling. I would definitely recommend this top!!

Don't buy this. Life factory is selling a different shaped lid in stores and this is just awkward to use. You have to pour your water into your mouth, you can't drink out of this because it's too small and the wrong shape to let air into the bottle.

I purchased this lid to replace my straw lid on my 22oz Life Factory water bottle. The lid is silicone which stays back when drinking. The opening is an odd shape though. It’s narrow so you either have to only use 1/2 of the opening or tilt the lid to the side to get the correct air flow. It’s not perfect but works 100% better than the straw lid.

Hubby and I didn't like the lid that came with our Lifefactory bottles and hardly ever used them. He found these and now it's non stop drinking water for us. These lids don't leak like the straw ones do. It took a couple times for me personally to get use to it but now I love that I can toss it in my bag and not worry about it leaking everywhere.

I love this cap! I don’t have to unscrew the top every time like the cap my water bottle came with. I needed a new one for easy access during my workouts. My only complaint is it comes in one color and not the red or blue that matches my water bottle. But I can get over that because the functionality is great!

Works. Not sure I like the shape of the hole on top to drink out of, I usually tip it sideways and drink out of it the long way up and down vs how it's supposed to be the long way side to side. I had bought the bottle from a store and realized that it still had a plastic straw, so that didn't really make sense since I was trying to go to all glass, which won't leach chemicals. So made the switch to this type of top.

So glad I could find a replacement lid for my water bottle. The lid wears out long before the bottle does. Please keep carrying this item. I don't like the prospect of having to buy a whole bottle just because the lid wears out- too expensive!

I love my Life Factory water bottle and get lots of comments on it when I take it to work! The only downside I have found is the durability of the lid; the way I carry it, the inside of the lid tends to break away from the rest of the rubber, causing it to leak. However, I use my bottle everyday so it can be expected. I love these bottles because they are dishwasher safe and MUCH easier to clean than a Nalgene bottle, I can simply toss both the lid and the bottle in the dishwasher with no worries.

The cap does not properly secure to the glass lifefactory bottle. When carrying the bottle, no matter how hard I screw it on, it continues to drip water and loosens too easily.

While this cap worked better than the straw cap for me, I could only make it work by pretty much pouring the water into my mouth. If I tried to sip from the spout, the suction was too strong, and I would get very little water. I switched to the kleen kanteen with sports cap and am finding that MUCH easier to drink from.

Lifefactory bottles are the best and the flip cap lid makes for easy access. When I dropped my bottle with the straw lid I was thankful that the lid was the only thing that took a beating. Now I'm loving the easy of a new flip top lid.
