Wusthof quality! Matches the Classic Ikon theme. Not sure if it works any better then any other sharpeners but it looks great next to your block. Nice and heavy so it doesnt slide around.

J'ai eu plusieurs produits de ce genre, et j'ai toujours été plutôt déçu par leur efficacité et, surtout, leur durabilité.Sur une lame en acier doux, le résultat n'est pas meilleur que ce qu'on peut obtenir avec une pierre et un fusil, mais sur les inox (type 440 ou même plus durs), ce type d'affuteur est la seule solution "amateur" que je connaisse.Celui-ci est plutôt bien, la tenue en main permet de bien l'immobiliser, et donc d'avoir une chance de faire le mouvement correct.Reste évidemment à voir combien de temps les surfaces abrasives resteront efficaces...

Cet aiguiseur est certes de petite taille mais il est très efficace. Il permet de raffuter correctement et simplement ses couteaux. Mon fusil commençait à donner des signes de fatigue donc j'ai utilisé cet appareil. Il y a deux parties : une étape 1 qui permet de "dégrossir" et l'étape 2 permet "d'affiner" l'étape 1.Je n'ai rencontré aucune difficultés ni de désagrément sur le résultat.Il prend peu de place sur le plan de travail. Bonne dextérité et grande aisance. Très bonne stabilité.Très bon rapport qualité-prix. J'en suis très contente.

What to say... very light and comfortable to hold, does what it supposed to. Good looking sharpener, definitely like the design more than their plastic model, which is also a fine tool. Now, to get the money to buy "Ikon" line knives... oh, boy. Not a Wusthof in the house. Help me, tax return season!!!

nice device for an easy, quick sharpening when you need it - I still use my stone for the "okay, knife sharpening time," but this does very well in the in-between periods
